What is your favorite beast/animal?

The 15th day of #30DaysofDarkSun is here and the question is "What is your favorite beast/animal?"

Crodlu made me think of the Joust video game, so I've always been drawn to them. I like the idea that none of the standard earth animals have survived on Athas and have been replaced by hardier animals like the Aprig, Mekillot, Crodlu, and Kanks. The large crodlue on the cover of Dune Trader was interesting as well, the war-crodlu, was an upgrade from the crodlue as an analog to a warhorse.
